Series 3000 MkII InstrumentThe Series 3000 MkII Instrument provides comprehensive monitoring of oxygen and toxic gas hazards in potentially explosive atmospheres. The Series 3000 MkII variation is mainly for use in Zone 1 applications. The optional remote mounting kit allows the device to also be used in a Zone 0 location. This device is held in a flameproof housing giving it protection for explosive environments. The MkII has a sensor connection that is intrinsically safe.Examples of applications in which the MkII device may be used in include drilling and exploration platforms, wastewater facilities, power plants, utilities, production platforms, onshore oil and gas terminals and refineries and chemical plants. This instrument provides reliable detection thanks to the electrochemical sensing technology and the use of Surecell™ electrochemical cells along with a ‘reflex’ patented technology.There are benefits to using the MK II. This includes the ability to mount the device with an optional horizontal or vertical pipe-mounting bracket, the sensor is able to auto-configure the transmitter and the device has a non-intrusive arrangement. The Series MkII has a range of accessories that can be used to enhance the device. These include remote sensor mounting kit, duct mounting kit (for H2, CO and H2S only), collecting cone and calibration cup to apply test gas.
